Six Foreign Flagged Ships Under Detention In The UK During August

 

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) announced today that six foreign flagged ships were under detention in UK ports during August 2013 after failing Port State Control ( PSC) inspection.

Latest monthly figures show that there were three new detentions of foreign flagged vessels in UK ports and three vessels remained under detention from previous months. Only four vessels remained under detention at the end of this month.
