Singapore box throughput rises 4.7% in November

 

Singapore port moved 2.59m teu of containers in November, beating the volumes registered a year ago, according to data from Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
The world’s second busiest container port posted a 4.7% year-on-year increase in throughput in November. Volumes, however, dipped 3.2% month-on-month compared to October throughput of 2.68m teu.
In the first 11 months of this year, Singapore handled 29.03m teu of containers, up from 27.3m teu in the same period of 2011
