    Tugboat and Tanker Collide in Houston Ship Channel

      The U.S. Coast Guard is responding to a collision between a tug pushing barges and a tanker in the Houston Ship Channel Sunday.     Tug Sinks Off the Coast of Big Sur, California

      The Coast Guard received a distress called from the tug Delta Captain at 2:55 p.m. Saturday and immediately launched rescue crews; a 47-foot Motor Life Boat from Station Monterey, the Coast Guard Cutter Sockeye — an 87-foot Coastal Patrol Boat homeported in Bodega Bay — and an HH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter from Air Station

    Tug Sinks in Tennessee River Resulting in Fuel Spill

      4,000 gallons of diesel fuel has been contained on the Tennessee River after a tugboat sank in one of its embankments. The vessel, owned by New Johnsonville Marine Service, was found partially sunk on Monday morning. Officials said there were possibly 4,000 gallons of fuel on board, most of which leaked into the water.

    Tug Attacked off Nigeria

      Armada Century-managed offshore tug was attacked off Brass, Nigeria. An unknown number of crew were reported kidnapped. An offshore tug Orcus reportedly intercepted VHF distress call from offshore supply tug Armada Tuah 101 at 13:06 (local time) 17 February. Malaysia-flagged offshore tug, Armada Tuah 101, was attacked and boarded by pirates at 0700 UTC
