Port Klang choking from Indonesian fires
Kuala Lumpur: Seafarers unfortunate enough to be sailing to Malaysia’s top shipping destination, Port Klang, are in for a smoky time with news that the Johor port complex is suffering the worst of the haze from neighbouring Indonesia’s slash and burning farmers. The air pollutant index (API) at Port Klang was recorded at 487 as at 7am today. It had already reached hazardous levels yesterday evening, at 319
