PEMBANGUNAN PERUMAHAN Handles 7 Constructions In Kalibaru Project
JAKARTA: PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PP) Tbk will handle seven constructions in New Priok Port or Kalibaru Container Terminal through the cooperation with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Pelindo II).
Those seven construction work areas are 1A dock, Container Yard 1A, 1B dock, Breakwater Disposal A and B, Breakwater Container Yard 1B, Dredging and Reclamation Works.
Both state-owned companies signed the agreement on September 11, 2012. The New Priok Port is expected to operate in 2014 in accordance to the Presidential Decree No. 26/2012.
The signing of the contract means that there are no more barriers in implementing the project, Pelindo II or Indonesia Port Corporation (IPC) President Director RJ Lino said.
“The contract signing ensures the New Priok Port will operate according to its schedule in 2014 based on the Presidential Decree No. 26/2012,” he said as written in press release on Tuesday (9/11/2012).
Such cooperation followed up the decision letter from Pelindo II Board of Directors about the Determination of Work Auction Winner Phase II issued on August 10, 2012.
It was carried out after the signing of concession agreement with the Ministry of Transportation and the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the construction of Priok Toll Road between IPC, PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN), and PT Jasa Marga Tbk. (T06/aph)
