Indonesian Vice President, Mr Xanana Gusmao and Ministry of Defense in IMSCB’s Booth

Vice President of the Indonesian Republic, Boediono opened the Asian Pacific Security and Defense Expo 2014 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Wednesday (19/3). APSDEX was an annual event followed by the country in Asia and the Pacific and has entered the international calendar innovation series, initiatives, and technology defense and security in Asian Pacific countries.

In 2014 APSDEX, IMSCB participated to demonstrate the ability of the monitoring control and surveillance system (MCS) equipment. After that, the Vice President Boediono was pleased to visit IMSCB’s stand and accepted by Lieutenant Colonel Maritime Arief Meidyanto. On this occasion, Vice President received several explanations about capabilities among others about AISSAT, Long Range Camera and the integration ICE Base Station in IMSCB. They were very impressed with the abilities owned by IMSCB. Moreover, the Prime Minister of East Timor-Leste Xanana Gusmao accompanying Vice President even filed a request to Vice President Boediono subject possible cooperation with IMSCB in terms of command ceter management, especially to monitor the ship around Timor-Leste waters territorial using Aissat, Radar Coastal surveillance (system), Long Range camera (LRC).

The Minister of Defense also added that the cooperation should be made related to the Human resources who managed the command center.
