JAKARTA, Indonesia (May 22, 2013) – Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Arman Hajiomar, attached to Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training Command, demonstrates how to use a Special Operations Forces-Tactical (SOF-T) tourniquet during a subject matter expert medical symposium exchange during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Indonesia 2013. More than 1,000 Sailors and Marines are participating in CARAT Indonesia 2013. CARAT is a series of annual, bilateral maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
