Pelindo III Processes Lawsuit On Adaro

 

JAKARTA: PT Pelindo III urged PT Adaro Indonesia to pay off its debts to the Government upon loading service charges in Banjarmasin with a material lawsuit worth IDR75.05 billion and IDR100 billion of immaterial charge.

Head of Public Relations of Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Pelindo III) Edi Priyanto said the payment issue for ship to ship services s is related with the Government’s loss and it is findings of the investigation done by Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

“Adaro has to pay for the service charges in Banjarmasin which is currently paid through Pelindo III because the problem was related to the loss of state and a CPC findings,” said Edi, Monday (03/250.

General Manager Pelindo III Banjarmasin Branch Office Toto Heli Yanto said the company’s lawsuit against Adaro continues after the last mediation was failed.

In the third mediation on 21 March, Adaro and 10 companies that handled the loading and unloading of Adaro’s goods has not shown good faith to pay the ship to ship transfer services.
