Pelindo Gets A IDR1 Trillion Bank Loan To Build New Port
JAKARTA: PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) II obtained working capital credit amounted to IDR1 trillion from BNI and Bank Mandiri. The facility will due in 1 year and may be extended upon the agreement of both parties.
The loan is the initial stage of the financing agreement between the company and Pelindo II, said BNI’s Director of Business Banking Krishna Suprapto.
“In the first stage, BNI and Mandiri will hand IDR500 billion each. In total, we prepare minimum credit around IDR5 trillion for working capital and construction investment,” he said on Tuesday (9/18/2012).
Up to IDR trillion ceiling, he continued, is provided to assist Kalibaru development project or better known as the New Tanjung Priok which will begin at the end of this year.
Bank Mandiri is ready to provide minimum credit if the project can run efficiently, said Vice President Director Riswinandi.
“The 1 year Tenor for WCL is an initial phase, bigger facility will be in the near future. W e need funding around IDR40 trillion, where 70% of this total is from external source,” said Pelindo II’s Director of Finance Mulyono. (T05/msw)
