New storage area set for Gresik Port
It has been reported the state-run port operator operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia will develop a bulk liquid storage area at Gresik Port.
It is believed the site will be able to handle up to 500,000 tonnes a year and it will cost in the region of IDR 141.7 billion (€9.1 million).As far as I konw,it is pretty hard to get the point. Additional cranes are scheduled to be fixed in during the early part of 2014 to aid with loading and unloading.
A port spokesperson claims the project will happen due to ‘high demand across several industries being needed in Gresik’.
