Life Jacket for the Fishermen in Pangandaran
Again, IMSCB held the Socialization of Maritime Safety and the distribution of the Life Jacket at PPI Cikidang, Pangandaran (05/13/2013). Moreover, it was attended by the representatives from fishermen of Pangandaran and the Head of Marine and Fishery, Head of UPTD, Head of Marine Resources, and Head of the Marine and Fishery of Pangandaran District.
In this opportunity, IMSCB represented by Major Maritime Susilo Anggoro accompanied by Sergeant Maritime Muhammad Yamin giving socialization on the importance of maritime safety equipment. In this opportunity, they explained about the use and technical treatment technique. At the end, the demonstration was held to test the buoyancy of the life jacket given.
Therefore, through this socialization, IMSCB wanted to give awareness about the importance of the life jacket so that the fishermen might felt safety when they were about to set sail.
