11 killed in boat capsize off Morocco
34 migrants were sailing to Europe and 11 of them have died when their boat capsized of north coast of Morocco. 12 people were sent to the hospital for medical treatment. The cause of the death – drowning only one man died while being transported to the hospital. The nationality of the passengers is not known.
The boat capsized 9km off Hoceima and was heading to the north African Spanish enclave of Melilla. The reason for the incident is not the bad weather but the number of people on the boat which was to small for all the passengers.
