    12 Rescued after Being Thrown Overboard by Pirates

      On Wednesday 12 crewmen were rescued by the Philippine navy after pirates hijack their barge and tugboat off Borneo Island. Philippine officials say that pirates seized the Malaysian barge and tugboat from its crew on Friday, while en route to Indonesia where they were scheduled to load iron ore for transport to Davao City.
